David Warburton’s new book explores current state of regenerative medicine

From offering new cancer-fighting options to re-growing damaged organs and nerves, regenerative techniques have a use in nearly every area of medicine. These diverse applications are explored in the new book Stem Cells, Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, edited by David Warburton, director of Developmental Biology and Regenerative Medicine at The Saban Research Institute of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), and member of the USC Stem Cell executive committee.

Published by World Scientific, this book features chapters by scientists from CHLA and USC, as well as from colleagues across the world. These field leaders discuss key concepts and new developments, offering the reader comprehensive insight into the current state of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine research.
