Stem cell research symposium hosts international speakers

On June 14, Songtao Shi of the Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology and Gregor Adams of the Eli and Edythe Broad Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research, co-organized the 2010 Symposium on the theme “Stem Cell Research and Application.”

The meeting, which focused on breaking scientific developments and current issues related to clinical application, featured several of the foremost leaders in stem cell biology and translational medicine: Marc Raajimakers (Harvard Medical School and Erasmus University), Xu Cao (Johns Hopkins University), Cheng-Ming Chuong (USC) and Stan Gronthos (University of Adelaide, Australia).
