Bringing stem cells to patients: Treating age-related blindness

Learn about the ongoing stem cell-based clinical trials to treat the most common form of age-related blindness, macular degeneration. This public symposium features a team of doctors, scientists and engineers from USC, Caltech, City of Hope and the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as a patient whose vision improved after participating in the clinical trials supported by the state’s stem cell agency, the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM).
