Objective

The goal of the USC Stem Cell Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is to provide postdoctoral scholars with a structured mentoring plan to pursue cross-cutting stem cell research in preparation for scientific careers in academia and industry. Postdoctoral fellows will be integrated into the vibrant stem cell community at USC with access to state-of-the-art infrastructure. The program fosters scientific and career development through a formal mentoring committee, trainings on research-related and transferable skills, and faculty-led preparation for the transition to independence in academia or industry.

Award Information

The USC Stem Cell Postdoctoral Fellow Program offers one of the highest postdoctoral stipend levels in the country. Fellows will receive a salary top-up of $10,000 each year for 3 years (3-year term), which for a new postdoc in 2021–2022 equated to $72,400 per year. We also offer a one-time relocation assistance payment of $2,000. Awards will be allocated after matching with a host laboratory from the USC Department of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine.
