Americans for Cures produced a white board animation showcasing a clinical trial for age-related macular degeneration, led by USC Stem Cell researchers David Hinton and Mark Humayun:

A second animation features a clinical trial for type 1 diabetes at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD):

Both clinical trials received funding from the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM), the agency charged with dispensing $3 billion in voter-approved dollars to stem cell researchers throughout the state.
